Windows 10 End-of-Life — Why You Must Act Now

Important Notice: Windows 10 will no longer receive updates or security patches after October 14, 2025

This means every computer still running Windows 10 after this date will become increasingly vulnerable to security threats and may face compatibility issues with new applications and hardware.

At The Lion’s Kingdom IT Solutions, our mission is to make IT and computer management understandable and as easy and seamless as possible.

We are dedicated to helping businesses and individual consumers transition smoothly to new technology while ensuring your systems remain secure and fully operational.

For Businesses

Keep Your Operations Secure and Efficient For companies, the transition isn’t just about keeping up with technology—it’s about ensuring business continuity.

Upgrading to Windows 11 now helps guarantee that all your business applications continue to run smoothly.

With Windows 10’s end-of-support, you risk running unsupported software that could jeopardize your security and operational efficiency.

Modern features in Windows 11, such as enhanced hardware-based security (e.g., TPM 2.0 and secure boot) and performance optimizations, are designed to meet the demands of today’s business environments.

Leading manufacturers like Dell, HP, and Lenovo have all stressed the importance of moving to newer platforms to avoid disruptions and costly workarounds.

Protect Your Personal Data and Future-Proof Your Technology

For individual users, updating to Windows 11 is equally crucial. After October 14, 2025, running Windows 10 means you’ll no longer receive critical security updates, exposing your sensitive personal data.

In addition, as software and hardware manufacturers evolve, many new features and services will be designed specifically for Windows 11. If your current PC doesn’t meet the Windows 11 requirements, now is the time to plan an upgrade or consider a new computer.

This proactive approach will ensure that your device stays secure and that you continue to enjoy enhanced performance, increased privacy, and user-friendly features.

Compatibility Alert: Recent Models May Not Support Windows 11

While many modern devices are ready for an upgrade, some recent computer models may fall short—typically due to older processor generations and/or the absence of TPM 2.0.

Windows 11 minimum requirements:

  • Processor: A compatible 1 GHz or faster processor with 2 or more cores on a 64-bit processor.

  • RAM: At least 4 GB.

  • Storage: 64 GB or larger storage device.

  • Graphics: Compatible with DirectX 12 or later, with a WDDM 2.0 driver.

  • Display: High-definition (720p) display, 9-inch or greater.

  • Internet Connectivity: Required for initial device setup, especially for Windows 11 Pro for personal use and Windows 11 Home.

A computer can operate on minimum requirements; however, it is not recommended. This can lead to frustration, slow performance, and unusability.

For personalized advice, please verify your model’s specifications on the manufacturer’s website or contact an IT professional.
